April 2017 Poetry Prompt-Day 1

I have decided upon a different format for the poetry prompts than I had promised.

What I am going to do is offer up a feeling (for example, love)  and a noun from Nature (for example, calf) and that will be the prompt for the day.  You take the noun and create a poem about the feeling expressed as that noun, metaphorically.

Today’s prompt:

acceptance and snail
